Preliminary Procedures
- Remove the oil level indicator.
- Disconnect the brake booster hose and check valve from the brake booster. Position the hose aside.
- Remove the manual shaft detent assembly roller. Refer to
Control Valve Lower Body and Upper Body Replacement.

| Engine Sight Shield
Tip
Remove the engine sight shield by lifting straight up. |

| Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly
Tip
Remove the front section of the supercharger inlet duct assembly. Refer to
Supercharger Inlet Duct Assembly Replacement. |

| Ignition Coil Assembly Cover
Tip
Remove the ignition coil assembly cover by lifting straight up, if equipped. |

| Ignition Coil Assembly Bolt (Qty: 2)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tip
| • | Do not remove these fasteners if replacing an individual ignition coil. If replacing an individual ignition coil, remove the appropriate bolt or stud. |
| • | Release the secondary lock, and disconnect the main electrical connector from the coil assembly while the coil assembly partially removed. |
Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in) |

| Ignition Coil Assembly Stud (Qty: 2)
Tip
Do not remove these fasteners if replacing an individual ignition coil. If replacing an individual ignition coil, remove the appropriate bolt or stud.
Tighten

Tip
Ensure that the spark plug seals are in place during reassembly. |
