Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1273535 Size: SH
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the exhaust pipe lower hanger bolts to gain access to the dampener bolts. Refer to Intermediate Pipe Replacement .
  4. Remove the two dampener bolts (1).
  5. Remove the dampener.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1273535 Size: SH
  1. Position the dampener on the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the two dampener bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the exhaust pipe lower hanger bolts. Refer to Intermediate Pipe Replacement .
