Removal Procedure
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the screws retaining the front door speaker assembly to the door.
- Disconnect the electrical/audio connector from the front door speaker.
- Remove the front door speaker assembly.
Important: The speaker assembly is only held in place by retaining screws. Be sure to support the speaker assembly upon removal.
Installation Procedure
- Install the front door speaker assembly into position in the door.
- Connect the electrical/audio connector to the front door speaker.
- Install the front door speaker assembly retaining screws in the following sequence:
- Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Important: The tightening sequence MUST be followed.

Tighten
Tighten the screws in sequence to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).
