Removal Procedure

    Important: Complete removal of the I/P trim pad is not necessary. Gently lift the I/P trim pad until sufficient access to the sensor and electrical connect or is acquired.

  1. Partially remove the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1218530 Size: SH
  2. Gently lift the I/P trim pad to access the sun load sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1218527 Size: SH
  3. Rotate the sunload sensor to release from the I/P trim pad.
  4. Disconnect the sunload sensor electrical connector.
  5. Remove the sun load sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1218527 Size: SH
  1. Install the sun load sensor to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the sun load sensor electrical connector.
  3. Rotate to secure the sun load sensor to the I/P trim pad.
  4. Install the I/P trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .
