For 1990-2009 cars only
- Install the bell housing.
- Install the bell housing bolts.
- Install the right engine flywheel housing cover.
- Install the right engine flywheel housing cover bolts.
- Install the left engine flywheel housing cover.
- Install the left engine mount bracket.
- Install the left engine mount bracket bolts.
- Install the engine mount heat shield to the engine mount.
- Install the left engine mount.
- Install the left engine mount upper nut.
- Install the left exhaust manifold studs to the left cylinder head.
- Install the NEW left exhaust manifold gasket.
- Install the left exhaust manifold.
- Install the left exhaust manifold bolts to the left cylinder head and bell housing.
- Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts in the sequence shown.
- Tighten the left exhaust manifold bolt to the bell housing.
- Install the left exhaust manifold heat shield.
- Install the left exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bell housing bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold studs to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the engine mount bracket bolts to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the engine mount upper nut to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold studs to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts and nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the left exhaust manifold bell housing bolt to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
Tighten
Tighten the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
