Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2004 🢒 XLR 🢒 Brakes 🢒 Antilock Brake System 🢒 Distance Sensing Cruise Control Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 1239225 Size: SH
  2. Remove the left front section (1) of the air cleaner assembly.
  3. Remove the distance sensing cruise control (DSCC) module. Refer to Distance Sensing Cruise Control Module Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1239585 Size: SH
  4. Remove the three bolts (1) attaching the DSCC module bracket to the frame.
  5. Remove the DSCC module bracket from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the DSCC module bracket to the frame.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1239585 Size: SH
  2. Hand tighten the bolts that attach the DSCC module bracket to the frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the DSCC module. Refer to Distance Sensing Cruise Control Module Replacement .

    4. Object Number: 1239225 Size: SH
  4. Install the left front section (1) of the air cleaner assembly.
  5. Close the hood.
