Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 287809 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the speaker being serviced.
  3. Remove the fasteners from the speaker being serviced.
  4. Remove the speaker from the IP upper pad.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 287809 Size: SH
  1. Align the speaker being replaced with the opening in the instrument panel upper trim panel.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the speaker fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 1.8N·m (16 lb in).

  3. Connect the speaker electrical connector.
  4. Install the instrument panel upper trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
