Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trunk trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  2. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

  3. Object Number: 577867  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connections (1,4) from the navigation data processor (2).

  5. Object Number: 474820  Size: SH
  6. Remove the fasteners (1) retaining the navigation data processor / radio bracket to the rear shelf.
  7. Remove the navigation data processor and the bracket from the vehicle.

  8. Object Number: 577872  Size: SH
  9. Remove the fasteners (4) retaining the navigation data processor (5) to the navigation data processor / radio bracket (2).
  10. Remove the navigation data processor (5) from the navigation data processor / radio bracket (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 577872  Size: SH
  1. Install the navigation data processor (5) to the navigation data processor / radio bracket (2).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fasteners (4).
  4. Tighten
    Torque the fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Install the navigation data processor and bracket assembly in the vehicle.

  6. Object Number: 474820  Size: SH
  7. Install the fasteners (1). .
  8. Tighten
    Torque the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).


    Object Number: 577867  Size: SH
  9. Reconnect the navigation data processor electrical connectors (1,4).
  10. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement
  11. Install the upper trunk trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
