Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the door frame garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 105410  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
  5. Remove the three fasteners (3).
  6. Disconnect the wire harness from the retainer clip and unseat the grommet.
  7. Route the wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
  8. Remove the mirror (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Route the mirror wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
  2. Install the mirror (1) into the door frame.
  3. Align the studs through the holes in the mirror patch.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the three fasteners in order to secure the mirror to the door.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the mirror fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

    • Top nut
    • Forward nut
    • Rear nut
  7. Install the grommet by gently pulling into place.
  8. Connect the electrical connectors.
  9. Install harness into retainer clip.
  10. Install the door frame garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  11. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
