Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the center console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the HVAC control / navigation display bracket fasteners.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the navigation display and the HVAC control assembly.

    5. Object Number: 290457 Size: SH
  5. Remove the navigation display retaining fasteners.
  6. Remove the navigation display from the navigation / HVAC control mounting bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 290457 Size: SH
  1. Mount the navigation display to the navigation / HVAC control mounting bracket.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the navigation display retaining nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Torque the radio retaining nuts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the navigation display and the HVAC control.
  4. Install the navigation display / HVAC control assembly.

    5. Tighten
    Torque the assembly fasteners to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  5. Install the center console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  6. Install the instrument panel center trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
