Display and record all CVRSS DTCs and the status of each (CURRENT vs. HISTORY) using the On-Board Diagnostics via the Instrument Panel Cluster. Refer to Displaying Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) .

Does the IPC display NO RSS DATA?

Go to No RSS Data Loss of Serial Communications or Power

Are there any CVRSS CURRENT DTCs (i.e. CXXXX CURRENT, where XXXX is a four digit number)?

--

Go to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List/Type

  1. Clear the CVRSS DTCs. Refer to Clearing DTCs .
  2. Important: Do not turn the ignition off after performing the road test.

    Drive the vehicle above 50 MPH (80 km/h) for 20 seconds and avoid smooth road surfaces.

  3. After completing the road test, use the scan tool to cycle ALL CVRSS outputs.
  4. Wait 90 seconds.
  5. Display and record all CVRSS DTCs and the status of each (CURRENT vs. HISTORY) using the On-Board Diagnostics via the Instrument Panel Cluster. Refer to Displaying Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) .

Are there any CVRSS CURRENT DTCs?

Were there any CVRSS HISTORY DTCs (i.e. CXXXX HISTORY, where XXXX is a four digit number)?

--

The problem is intermittent. Search for intermittent poor circuit conditions using the schematic on the appropriate diagnostic table. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List/Type .

There are no apparent electrical faults. Check for pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical causes for the complaint.

  1. Install all of the components and connectors that were removed.
  2. Turn the ignition ON with the engine off.
  3. Clear the CVRSS DTCs. Refer to Clearing DTCs .
