FIELD ACTION BULLETIN FORMAT-COLOR CODED

As part of our continuing effort to improve services, we are pleased to announce an important enhancement to the format of Cadillac field action bulletins.

Beginning with the recently published Dealer Product Campaign Bulletin 89-C-1, all field action bulletins will be color coded for easy identification of field action type as follows:

- Safety and Noncompliance field actions will have a RED header and border.

- Non-Safety/Customer Satisfaction field actions will have a BLUE header and border.

- Vehicle Emission field actions will have a GREEN header and border.

- Special Policy field actions will have a YELLOW header and border.

We are confident that this communications enhancement will facilitate immediate dealer recognition of the field action type required and have a positive impact on subsequent customer satisfaction with our products.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
