1981 FUSEABLE LINK COLOR CODES CHANGED FUSEABLE LINK COLOR CODES HAVE BEEN CHANGED IN 1981. FOR 1980 AND EARLIER, WIRE COLORS WERE AS FOLLOWS: YELLOW FOR HEADLIGHTS, RED FOR IGNITION AND BLACK FOR BODY. FOR 1981, THE COLORS ARE AS FOLLOWS: YELLOW FOR HEADLIGHTS, BLACK FOR IGNITION AND RED FOR BODY. 1980 AND EARLIER YELLOW HEADLIGHTS 1981 - YELLOW 1980 AND EARLIER RED IGNITION 1981 - BLACK 1980 AND EARLIER BLACK - BODY 1981 - RED
