Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2006 🢒 STS 🢒 Body 🢒 Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console 🢒 Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1386654 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Pull the bolster trim panel out and downward in order to release the clips securing the panel to the instrument panel.

    3. Object Number: 1386652 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts securing the bolster bracket to the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1386652 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolts securing the bolster bracket to the instrument panel.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  2. Locate the bolster trim panel onto the Instrument panel.
  3. Push the trim panel in order to secure the clips to the instrument panel.
  4. Install the insulator to the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
