ESCM Replacement

If the electronic suspension control module (ESCM) is replaced, the procedures must be performed in the following order:

  1. ESCM programming--Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
  2. Important: The vehicle must be at correct trim height and on a level surface before performing trimset procedure. Refer to Trim Height Inspection in General Suspension Diagnosis. Connect scan tool to the vehicle, turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF and follow the on screen instruction in electronic suspension control (ESC) Special functions.

  3. Trimset procedure.

ESCM Reprogramming

If the ESCM is reprogrammed, the procedures must be performed in the following order:

  1. ESCM programming--Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
  2. Important: The vehicle must be at correct trim height and on a level surface before performing trimset procedure. Refer to Trim Height Inspection in General Suspension Diagnosis. Connect scan tool to the vehicle, turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF and follow the on screen instruction in ESC Special functions.

  3. Trimset procedure.

Suspension Position Sensor Replacement

If a position sensor is replaced, the following must be performed:

Connect scan tool to the vehicle, turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF and follow the on screen instruction in ESC Special functions.
