Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2008 🢒 SRX 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Intake

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.

    2. Object Number: 1285235 Size: SH
  2. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) actuator valve electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1285237 Size: SH
  3. Remove the CMP actuator valve bolt.
  4. Remove the CMP actuator valve.
  5. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal and replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure
  1. Inspect the CMP actuator valve seal for damage. Replace the seal if necessary.

    2. Object Number: 1285237 Size: SH
  2. Install the CMP actuator valve.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the CMP actuator valve bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the CMP actuator valve bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
