Preliminary Procedures

    • Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
    • Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tighten

Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly

Tip

    • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
    • Carefully pull the control switch assembly away from the steering wheel.
