Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the I/P cluster trim cover. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 700900  Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws (2) securing the cluster to the I/P.

  4. Object Number: 717265  Size: SH
  5. Install a small flat bladed tool (1) between the I/P cluster and the I/P.
  6. Pry up on the I/P in order to release the retainers on the cluster.
  7. Pull out on the cluster and disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 700900  Size: SH
  1. Position the cluster on the I/P.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1) on the back of the cluster.
  3. Push the cluster into the I/P in order to lock in the cluster retainers.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the fasteners (2) in order to secure the cluster to the I/P.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
