DEFINITION: One of the two following conditions occurs during a fourth to fifth gear steady throttle upshift, or a fifth to fourth coast, or a light to moderate throttle detent downshift:
| | An unacceptable quick gear change occurs. |
| | An unacceptable long gear change occurs. |

| • | Damaged piston, 2-3, 3-2 shift |
