Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2181956 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fan. Refer to Fan Replacement.
  2. Loosen the condenser tube from the fan shroud retainer clip ( 2 ).
  3. Loosen the steering fluid tube from the fan shroud retainer clip ( 1 ).

    4. Object Number: 1372876 Size: SH
  4. Remove the cooling fan shroud retaining bolts.
  5. Remove the fan and the fan shroud from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1372876 Size: SH
  1. Install the fan and the fan shroud to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the cooling fan shroud retaining bolts and tighten to 5.4 N·m (48 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 2181956 Size: SH
  3. Connect the condenser tube to the fan shroud retainer clip.
  4. Connect the steering fluid tube to the fan shroud retainer clip.
  5. Install the fan. Refer to Fan Replacement.
