Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the front seat cushion . Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Cushion Ventilation Heating and Cooling Blower Replacement .
3. Recalibrate SIR passenger pressence system. After any parts of seat cushion or passenger presence system is removed, refer to Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module Programming and Setup .

30 N·m (22 lb ft)

Front Seat Adjuster

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the front seat adjuster.
