Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2016098 Size: SH
  1. Lower the headliner in order to access the sunroof motor/actuator. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .

    2. Important: If the sunroof is partially closed, remove the actuator before moving the sunroof forward.

  2. Disconnect the sunroof motor and control module electrical connector.
  3. Remove the retaining screws securing the sunroof actuator to the sunroof module.
  4. Remove the sunroof actuator and control module assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2016098 Size: SH
  1. Manually move the sunroof window to the closed position.
  2. Install the sunroof motor and control module assembly to the sunroof positioning frame.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the sunroof motor and control module securing screws.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 5.8 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connectors.
  5. Secure the electrical harness to the harness clip.
  6. Verify the operation of the sunroof.
  7. Install the formed headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
