LOOSE MOLDING AT ROCKER PANEL INSTALL SELF DRILLING SCREWS

SUBJECT: FENDER LOWER MOULDING LOOSE AT ROCKER PANEL AREA (INSTALL SELF DRILLING SCREW)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1991 C MODELS

A condition of the fender moulding being outboard of the rocker panel may be noted on some 1991 C vehicles.

To correct this condition, a self drilling screw, part number 12337913, must be installed. A raised boss will be noted on the plastic fender lower moulding underside. This is the location that must be drilled to install the screw. Drill a 5mm (13/64 in.) hole through the plastic boss and install the 12337913 self drilling screw. as shown in Figure 1.
