1. Remove the transmission range select lever. Refer to Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement.
2. Remove the control valve upper body. Refer to Control Valve Upper Body Replacement.

Procedure

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Disconnect the shift shaft position switch from the park pawl actuator.
