The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the FUEL LEVEL LOW message in the driver information center (DIC) and the LOW FUEL indicator when the IPC detects that the fuel level is less than a pre-determined value.

HOOD OPEN

KM/H

The IPC displays the km/h indicator when the IPC detects that metric units have been requested.

LEFT REAR DOOR OPEN

MPH

MPH: The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the MPH indicator when the cluster detects that English units have been requested.

OIL PRESSURE LOW STOP ENGINE

The IPC displays this message in the DIC when the ECM detects that the oil pressure is very low and the engine has to be stopped.

WASHER FLUID LOW ADD FLUID

KM/H

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays the km/h indicator when the cluster detects that Metric units have been requested.

SHIFT INDICATOR

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the shift indicator when the engine control module (ECM) determines that the vehicle should be shifted to the next higher gear. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the ECM requesting illumination.
