SERVICE VME

This is a product information update, effective with April, 2004 production, full size pickups and utilities will no longer have the metal power steering pump housing painted. This was done to improve the manufacturing process and is not a quality concern or a factory mis-build. A zinc coated rust inhibitor remains in place. Dealers should not replace power steering pumps just for the lack of a painted housing. Note : This change also affects GMT 610, 320/330, H2 and M/L vans

.
