This bulletin is being revised to provide a more detailed description of the customer's concern. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-08-44-018 (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).


Condition

Some customers may comment that the remote CD changer may click on initialization. Others may comment that the CD changer freezes up or loses place in a song. In addition, when using the RANDOM Mode, the customer may notice the radio display does not match the disc/track being played.

Cause

The clicking, freezing up or loosing place in a song is caused by initialization when the main micro is coming out of sleep mode (power moding).

The display not matching the disc/track when using RANDOM mode is caused by a software anomaly.

Correction

To address the conditions listed in this bulletin, replace the CD changer with P/N 15825530. Refer to Remote CD Player Replacement in SI.
