The midgate has two retainers (1) at the upper corners of the cavity where the back glass is stored when it is removed. The retainers rotate on an axis in order to lock the glass in place. These retainers are now available through GMSPO as separate components. It is no longer necessary to replace the entire midgate when only the retainers need to be replaced.
