The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
You may experience a HVAC controlhead that is inoperative or is not functioning correctly after SPS programming the controlhead. The concern is mostly noticed in the field on Cadillac Escalade Models after performing bulletin: 07-01-39-003 for updating the software in the HVAC controlhead for a inside rearview mirror issue. Techline has root caused the issue to the HVAC calibrations that are currently in TIS-2-WEB. Techline is in the process of repairing the calibrations
Recommendation/Instructions:
If you experience the above concern, please do not replace the HVAC controlhead, contact the Techline Customer Support Center for the corrected calibrations.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
