This bulletin is being revised to close the Engineering Information and provide corrective action. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 06-01-39-005A (Section 01 -- HVAC).
Condition
Some customers may comment that the vehicle's A/C is not cooling or is not cold enough.
Correction
DO NOT REPLACE THE A/C COMPRESSOR UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY SI.
Based on technician feedback, engineering has determined SI diagnostics will lead the technician to the specific cause and correction of the customer's concern. Refer to "A/C Performance Test".
