Removal Procedure

The radio control module and the radio antenna module cannot be replaced individually.

  1. Lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) attached to the rear quarter glass panel.
  3. Remove the module (1) bolt.

  4. Object Number: 741403  Size: SH
  5. Remove the control module (1) from the roof.

  6. Object Number: 798115  Size: SH
  7. Remove the cable (2, 3) from the roof cross member by removing the cable clips (1).

  8. Object Number: 741404  Size: SH
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) attached to the rear quarter glass panel (1).
  10. Remove the module (3) bolt.
  11. Remove the antenna module from the roof.
  12. Remove the radio control modules and cable from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the antenna module (3) to the roof.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 741404  Size: SH
  3. Install the module bolt.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the antenna cable to the module (3), if disconnected.
  6. Connect the connector (2) to the rear quarter glass panel (1).

  7. Object Number: 798115  Size: SH
  8. Install the cable (2, 3) to the roof cross member by pushing in the retainer clips (1).

  9. Object Number: 741403  Size: SH
  10. Install the module bolt.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  12. Connect the antenna cable to the module (1).
  13. Connect the connector (2) to the rear quarter glass panel (3).
  14. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
