Important: This service bulletin is not applicable to "GM of Canada" dealers.
Formerly, GM Dealers were reimbursed for labor associated with the installation of Regular Production Accessories (RPAs) by filing a warranty claim against labor operation Z6998 (PDI Adds). However, with Vehicle Personalization Option (VPO) and Limited Promotion Option (LPO) programs, either the GM Dealer or the Accessories Distributor Installation (ADI) is reimbursed (credited) by General Motors through their Open Parts Account shortly after the VPO/LPO order is closed out by the ADI. Dealers that have credit inquiries about VIN-specific orders should first contact their local ADI. If an ADI is unable to answer certain questions, ADIs have the responsibilty to contact the VPO Help Desk at the SPO Contact Center to provide such support.
Once GMSPO issues credit to the installing GM Dealer/ADI, such credits will appear on the Open Parts Account Statement as follows: VIN, VPO/LPO RPO Code, Invoice Information, and Credit Amount. For example:

GM Dealers have the choice of installing the content associated with the VPO/LPO package and receiving a fixed installation credit amount OR requesting that their local ADI complete the installation, which would result in the ADI receiving the credit.
