The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Vehicles equipped with GM Accessories Wheels may exhibit a condition in which the green, aluminum valve stem TPM sensor cannot be learned to a customer's vehicle or, once programmed, the sensor may become inoperative at some point after programming.

Recommendation/Instructions:

An internal quality issue was identified in late 2007 for this TPM. The supplier implemented corrective action on 01/04/08 resulting in a breakpoint of 2465313 for the TPM serial number.

The programming procedure for this TPM sensor is outlined in TSB 06-03-10-001 (Full-Size Utilities 20" + 22" Wheels) and TSB 06-03-10-011 (Full-Size Truck 20" + 22" Wheels). If a TPM sensor is unable to be programmed using the method outlined in the applicable bulletin(s), the TPM sensor should be replaced.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
