The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may report over a period of a week or longer that the mirror memorized position(s) drifts upward on one mirror and downward on the other. As a result, the customer is forced to adjust both mirrors and reset the desired memory positions to achieve the proper operation. Over the span of a week or longer the same problem re-occurs. This will not occur when OSRVM park assist feature is disabled through the Drivers Information Center.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Please don't replace the outside rearview mirrors or the door modules to resolve this concern. Engineering has identified the concern and updated software for the door modules will be released at a later date. This PI will be updated when the software is available. Depending on the customer's preference, it may be appropriate to disable the feature through the DIC until the software is released.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
