The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may have questions on what is the proper operation of the rear wiper switch after reading the owners manual.

Recommendation/Instructions:

The rear wiper switch has two selections for the operation of the rear wiper. Each selection is a different delay mode. When moving the switch to the first notch, the rear wiper will activate one time and then will delay for 25 seconds and activate again. The second notch will activate the wipers one time and there will be a 6 second delay between sweeps.

The rear wiper switch does not have a selection for running the wipers constantly on high or low speed. This is a misprint in the owner's manual.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
