The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some customers may comment that the body side moldings are coming loose or you may notice this concern during PDI. If the front side molding is loose, it is possible for the loose side molding to cause damage to the front fender.

Recommendation/Instructions:

When performing a PDI on a vehicle, please check the body side molding for being loose or starting to lift. If you experience this concern, replace the effected body side molding.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
