DTC C0551: Option Configuration ErrorDiagnostic Fault Information
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
Circuit/System Description
The electronic suspension control (ESC) module performs internal checks on the software calibrations contained in the electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) to ensure valid operation.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The ESC module detects internal problems with software calibrations.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
| • | ESC is disabled. |
| • | SERVICE SUSPENSION SYSTEM and SPEED LIMITED message is displayed in the driver information center (DIC). |
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The condition is no longer present.
Circuit/System Verification
Verify that DTC C0551 is not set.
| ⇒ | If the DTC is set, program the electronic suspension control module. If the DTC resets, replace the ESCM. |
