Front Floor Console Replacement Base

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 276466  Size: MH
  1. Remove the front tray (4) from the compartment.
  2. Remove the storage bin.
  3. Remove the two bolts (2).
  4. Remove the storage compartment (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 276466  Size: MH
  1. Install the storage compartment (1).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the two bolts (2).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the storage compartment bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the storage bin.
  6. Install the front tray (4).

Front Floor Console Replacement Luxury

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 288153  Size: SH
  1. Remove the console trim plate. Refer to Console Trim Plate Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 587775  Size: SH
  3. Remove the console to floor bolts (3,4.1,2).
  4. Remove one of the front bucket seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.

  5. Object Number: 388717  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the IP harness (1) and the cross body harness (5) connectors from the console.
  7. Remove the console by sliding rearward and lifting out of the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 388717  Size: SH
  1. Install the console to the vehicle by sliding forward and onto the bracket.
  2. Connect the IP harness (1) and the cross body (5) harness in the console.
  3. Install the front bucket seat.

  4. Object Number: 587775  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   5. Install the console to floor bolts in order of 3,4,1,2.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
