Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 604138  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Separate the rear buckles and belt assembly.
  4. Remove the inoperative buckle assembly (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 604138  Size: SH
  1. Install the buckle (2) and seat belt (1) assembly (s) to the floor pan studs.
  2. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Ensure the seat back wire loops are positioned over the seat belt buckle assembly(s).
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the nuts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten nuts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  7. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
