WIRE WHEEL COVER LABEL INSTALLATION LOCATIONS

MODELS AFFECTED: 1984 DEVILLE, BROUGHAM, ELDORADO AND SEVILLE 1985 DEVILLE AND FLEETWOOD

A label describing removal and installation procedures for locking wire wheel covers is now included as part of the wire wheel cover (Option N91) package. This label should be installed in the upper right-hand area of the inside of the deck lid on all models (except Seville) at the time of new vehicle preparation.

Seville is equipped with a carpeted trunk which prevents label installation on the deck lid. On Seville, it is recommended that the label be placed in the glove box.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
