Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the right rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side.

    2. Object Number: 488881 Size: SH
  2. Insert a small bladed screwdriver under the locking tab and unlock the connector.
  3. Disconnect the connector from the rear object sensor control module assembly.

    4. Object Number: 488882 Size: SH
  4. Remove the mounting nuts retaining the rear object sensor control module assembly to the vehicle.
  5. Remove the rear object sensor control module assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 488882 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear object sensor control module assembly to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear object sensor control module assembly mounting nuts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear object sensor control module assembly mounting nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connector. Press in the locking tab.
  4. Install the rear compartment side trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Right Side.
