Caution: Remove all the air from the hydraulic brake system anytime the hydraulic brake system is opened for repair. The entire bleeding procedure must be followed. Failure to remove all the air in the hydraulic brake system will result in reduced braking performance and possible personal injury.

Nut, Brake Pipe (Qty: 2)

Tip

•	Cap or plug the brake pipes to prevent fluid loss and contamination.

•	Bleed the brake system anytime the system is opened for repairs. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .

Tighten
29 N·m (21 lb ft)

Nut, Master Cylinder (Qty: 2)

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)

Tip

•	Remove electrical connector from the brake master cylinder switch.

•	Bench bleed the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding .
