For 1990-2009 cars only
- Move the manual shaft out of the Park position.
- Push the parking pawl pivot pin (23) towards the side cover with a pin punch. Push down on the spring while driving the pin out. Remove the pivot pin.
- Remove the parking pawl (22) and remove the spring (25).
