SCAN TOOL NOT CAPABLE OF DISPLAYING CRANKING RPM

THE ATTACHED PAGES ARE TO BE USED WHEN THE SCAN TOOL YOU ARE USING IS NOT CAPABLE OF DISPLAYING CRANKING RPM. SOME NEW GENERATION EQUIPMENT (EG. TECH 1) WILL DISPLAY CRANKING RPM BUT THE MPSI MULTI-SCANNER, EVEN WITH THE MODEL 8192 CONVERTER WILL NOT. PLEASE NOTE IN YOUR SERVICE MANUALS THAT THESE BULLETIN CHARTS ARE TO BE USED WHEN CRANKING RPM CAN NOT BE READ VIA A SCAN TOOL.
