Attention: Parts Manager, Service Manager and Warranty Administrator

This message is to address the parts situation on Customer Satisfaction Program 02041A. Currently, GMSPO is experiencing back orders on two of the Catera tensioner kits and 1997-1998 cylinder heads. They are as follows:

A back order situation has resulted from a shortage of a common component part number included in the tensioner kits. GMSPO is expecting partial shipments of the short component beginning the week of 11/18/02 and expect to resolve back orders by mid-December. Sufficient inventory is in transit to cover existing back orders on the cylinder heads.
