Clutch Concentric Actuator Cylinder Replacement CTS-V

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1426234  Size: SH
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement . The transmission removal procedure includes the removal of the concentric actuator cylinder from the transmission.

  2. Object Number: 1447467  Size: SH
  3. Remove the clip from the line connection at the front of the dash. The graphic shows the view from the top of the engine for clarity.
  4. Separate the hydraulic line connection and remove the concentric actuator cylinder from the vehicle.
  5. Cap the vehicle hydraulic line to prevent contamination of the system.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1447467  Size: SH
  1. Install the concentric actuator cylinder to the vehicle.
  2. Install the concentric actuator cylinder connector to the vehicle hydraulic line.
  3. Force the line connection together while installing the clip to the hydraulic line connection.
  4. Carefully pull the lines apart to ensure there is a proper connection.

  6. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  7. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. Refer to Hydraulic Clutch Bleeding .

Clutch Concentric Actuator Cylinder Replacement CTS

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 779337  Size: SH
  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
  2. Remove the concentric actuator cylinder quick connect bolt (5).
  3. Remove the 3 concentric actuator cylinder bolts (1).
  4. Remove the concentric actuator cylinder (2).
  5. Remove the O-ring (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 779337  Size: SH
  1. Install the O-ring (3).
  2. Install the concentric actuator cylinder (2).
  3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the 3 concentric actuator cylinder bolts (1) and the quick connect bolt (5).
  5. Tighten

        • Tighten the 3 concentric actuator cylinder bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
        • Tighten the quick connect bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  6. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
