Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2007 🢒 CTS 🢒 Brakes 🢒 Antilock Brake System 🢒 Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Turn off all the lamps and accessories.
  2. Turn the ignition OFF.

    3. Object Number: 772418 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the battery negative cable (2) from the battery.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 772418 Size: SH

    Important: Clean any existing corrosion from the battery terminal , the battery cable bolt and the battery cable.

  1. Connect the battery negative (2) cable to the battery.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the battery cable bolt to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).

  2. Power windows calibration:
    3. 2.1. Repeat these steps for each window.
    2.2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
    2.3. Press the power window switch to the down position. After the window is in the full down position, press and hold the switch in the down position for 3 seconds.
    2.4. Press the power window switch to the up position. After the window is in the full up position, press and hold the switch in the up position for 3 seconds.
