Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  3. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.

  4. Object Number: 1398631  Size: SH
  5. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine retaining bolts.

  6. Object Number: 1398633  Size: SH

    Important: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.

  7. Remove the engine mount bracket to frame retaining bolts.

  8. Object Number: 785352  Size: SH
  9. Remove lower engine mount bracket retaining nuts.

  10. Object Number: 1398634  Size: SH
  11. Remove the right engine mount bracket to the frame stud.

  12. Object Number: 1398659  Size: SH
  13. Remove the engine mount bracket assembly from the vehicle.
  14. Remove the engine mount from the engine mount brackets. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount to the engine mount brackets. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Right Side .

  2. Object Number: 1398657  Size: SH
  3. Install the left engine mount bracket assembly to the vehicle.
  4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1398631  Size: SH
  5. Install the engine mount bracket to engine retaining bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1398634  Size: SH
  7. Install the engine mount bracket to the frame stud.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the stud to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1398633  Size: SH
  9. Install the lower engine mount bracket retaining bolts.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).


    Object Number: 785352  Size: SH
  11. Install the lower engine mount bracket retaining nuts.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

  13. Remove the screw jack.
  14. Install the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  15. Lower the vehicle.
