Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat back from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 792500  Size: SH
  3. Release the seat back lower J channel (1) to gain access to the armrest retainers.

  4. Object Number: 792501  Size: SH
  5. Remove the armrest retaining nuts (1).
  6. Remove the armrest from the seat back.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the armrest to the seat back.

  2. Object Number: 792501  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the armrest retaining nuts (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the retaining nuts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  5. Fasten the seat back cover J channel (1).
  6. Install the seat back into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
