Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 754046  Size: SH
  3. Remove the fastener (1) attaching the inside door handle (2) to the door trim panel.
  4. Remove the inside door handle from the door trim panel by sliding the handle towards the front of the vehicle.
  5. Remove the door handle from the door handle linkage.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 754047  Size: SH
  1. Insert the inside door handle rod (1) into the hole in the door handle assembly (2).
  2. Rotate the door handle assembly up towards the front of the vehicle.
  3. Slide the assembly (2) towards the rear of the vehicle to engage the three tabs.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the door handle fastener.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
